Eric Trujillo
Education
I graduated with a double major from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri.
I have a BA in Business Administration and Management Information Systems
Work Experience
My career began at Cerner where I spent almost 6 years developing systems in VB, C++, mobile applications in VC++ and
touchscreen applications in Java. From Cerner, I moved to Triple-I where I'm a contractor writing .Net applications.
I began my Triple-I contract work with Lockton Insurance writing their internal insurance systems. After Lockton,
I moved to Novastar Financial and wrote various mortgage applications. Currently, I'm writing solutions for the U.S. Army.
Business Experience
In 2002, a business partner and I started Trumark Technologies, Inc. We are a consulting firm who has worked on
multiple contracts and are currently writing a point of sale system for bars, restaurants and nightclubs and
also powering Cabaraoke.com. 2006 brought Trumark Investments, LLC. We look for and buy investment properties in all
parts of the city. Last, but not least comes Cabaraoke.com. We are in the very beginning of this exciting venture
and are very excited with it's growth in the short few months we've been around.
When I'm NOT working
I think I work more than anyone on the planet. (Which I enjoy, but is tiring nonetheless)
With the businesses and the "day job", I typically work 18 to 19 hours a day. When I'm not working during the
week, I'm at the gym. The gym is how I keep up the hectic work schedule. I try not to work weekends so I can
try to keep at least a little sanity. I spend the weekends with as many of my friends as I can see. But you know a
business man. His mind is never off work.

Music
Anything related to the musical theater and movies.
Alcoholic Beverage
I do not drink alcoholic beverages for the same reason I don’t eat Brussels sprouts.
I have nothing against it, I just don’t like the taste.
I see no reason to consume something I don’t like and being sociable does not need to mean getting hammered.
As for Brussels Sprouts, yes I did eat them when I was young, and no mother, it is not because us kids liked them.
It was because of what might happen if we refused.
Yes, we actually did obey our parents back then.
Smoking
I smoked a pipe for a time as an young adult, but only because my uncle did.
I kind of looked up to him even despite family differences.
He came a visited me more often than anyone else on my father’s side of the family.
Unfortunately, the smoking did take his life.
Movies
I would rather watch a movie about painting your wagon rather than blowing up your wagon.
I guess I can say my favorite movie was Ghandhi.
It's about a man who did the right thing for the right reasons, and not for what he could gain personally.
Aside from that, almost any musical.
Relaxation
What I do to relax is work.
When not in the cab I’m working on making Cabaraoke better.
I’ll relax every six months or so.
Goals
To die knowing that somehow I left my mark on the world and that something I did made someone’s life better.
Yeah, a little corny, but life isn't what we took from the world, but what we added to it.
